About

Me

Musaed Alhajeri is a fifth year Architectural Engineering student at Penn State University. He will graduate in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering focusing on structural systems. Musaed was born and raised in Kuwait; he moved to the U.S. to pursue his college degree and received a scholarship from Kuwait’s Ministry of Higher Education.

Design of structural systems is Musaed’s primary interest, but he’s also interested in exploring the various specialties in the structural engineering industry. He appreciates the integrated education approach of the architectural engineering major that combines all aspects of the built environment. The variety of classes at Penn State allowed him to explore his interests and learn more about where he fits in.

Outside of academics, Musaed enjoys reading and travelling. Studying in the U.S. has been an exciting experience, and he wishes to continue his education in new surroundings to satisfy his love for travelling and his passion for his career.
